Whisky and cognac have always appealed to the refined palate and divided connoisseurs at the same time. With AYRER's LOUIS XVI, a new path has been chosen. Organic malt from Franconia, triple distillation and an initial 2-year maturation in ex-Bourdeaux barriques form the basis. The finish in small ex-Cognac casks for a further 2 years enriches the whisky with unique flavour notes with the playfulness of good French brandies and the depth of classic single malts. Louis XVI, as a connoisseur of his time, would certainly have been seduced.
